Join Us in Making a Difference: Support Wolwedans Soup Kitchen

At Helping Relieve Poverty NPC, our mission is to bring hope and help to those in need. We believe that with love, compassion, and community, we can all make a significant impact in transforming lives. That’s why we’re so proud to have partnered with the Wolwedans Soup Kitchen, an inspiring initiative that provides nourishment and care to those who need it most.

Since joining the Wolwedans Soup Kitchen at the end of 2024, we’ve witnessed firsthand the powerful difference a simple meal can make in someone’s life. This incredible project, run by the AGS Church and Gideons, is a beacon of light for many families in the Wolwedans area. Every Wednesday, we gather to serve warm cups of soup and sandwiches to children and elderly members of the community at the local Community Hall.

For many of these individuals, this meal is more than just food—it’s a moment of connection, a reminder that they are seen and loved. Some elderly community members who are too sick or unable to walk are not forgotten; they receive the same support through home delivery, ensuring that no one is left behind.

However, as with any initiative of this scale, the need continues to grow. The Wolwedans Soup Kitchen is expanding, and to keep it running sustainably, we need your help. We require R 10,000 every week to ensure that we can continue providing this vital service to those who rely on it.
